And the greatest mass murderer in human history?
Mao Zedong (china) killed an estimated 78,000,000 people.
But these are just numbers right? I mean the fact that these men openly proclaimed to be Marxist and did their best to follow the rules that Marx wrote out in his book "The Communist Manifesto" (which he wrote with Engels), means nothing right? You'll debate and argue all day long that these weren't 'real' marxists. You can delude yourself and just see numbers, refusing to acknowledge the faces behind the names. Have you ever even read the Communist Manifesto? Marx taught that the old world had to be absolutely destroyed, all individuals had to be killed, and all forms of innovation had to be stopped. Because they mess with the status quo. They think outside the box and challenge the world around them. They inspire people the think differently, and for his little utopia, that would cause problems wouldn't it?
Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go look at something else on the internet.... which as a whole was only possible because of a capitalist nation. Yes those dirty dirty capitalists. Have fun living in the world we made!
And Communism has done nothing but kill. It has accomplished nothing good but death. Capitalism has saved while communism has killed. The greatest mass murderers in human history, Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin... Communists. How many capitalists are on that list? Communism still kills to this day. Ever visit China? North Korea? Cuba? People still disappear off of the streets every day. Especially in China. Countless artists, pregnant woman, political activists and more simply disappear never to be seen again.
I'll take capitalism over Communism any day of the week.
